#8-Chrysler Autos drops an F-bomb on Twitter

Just letting you know upfront, we won’t be quoting this mistake verbatim. We’re a family organization, after all.

Suffice it to say, someone who operated the Chrysler Autos account complained about Detroit drivers and dropped an F-bomb in the process. According to the Huffington Post, a media agency manages Chrysler’s social media. It isn’t clear what happened here… if it went to the wrong account or if it was just a complete lack of judgment. Either way, it was bad and steps should be taken to avoid such mishaps.

We will say that Chrysler deleted the tweet and apologized…that’s a good lesson. If you screw up, just say “I’m sorry.”
