What interests you most about your new internship?
I love that I finally get to sink my teeth into real brand-focused experiences. Regardless of where I end up in life, I will need to know how brands are developed, maintained and implemented across different mediums.
What skill do you think you will enjoy using most in your job and why?
I used to be really interested into drama. No, I’m not talking about chitter-chatter around latest gossip, but taking on the character and personality traits of someone you’re not. As I work with clients, I literally have to step into their shoes to develop new content for them. (Side note: I really like shoes.)
If you could create a children’s book, what would it be about and what role would you play in creating it?
First, it would have to be a pop-up book. Come on, pop-ups are pretty awesome. My book would be based in a fantasy world. There are no limitations to what you can create for a fantasy world, so my mind would literally get to run wild with ideas.
If you could accomplish a dream hobby, what would it be and why?
I keep a running bucket list. I add and subtract from it as things come and go. I’d love to create a photo album strictly to hold the memories from each accomplishment.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received and how did you apply it to your life?
“Breathe,” which has been said by multiple people. I tend to keep myself busy, and that doesn’t always bode well for my stress level. Plenty of people have told me to just “breathe.” I’ve learned to roll with the punches and enjoy the simpler things. Things become so less stressful when I just take time to breathe.
If you could write your own personal tagline, what would it be?
“Jack of all trades, but a master of pomegranates.” I tend to know a lot about a lot. I’m not necessarily a genius when it comes to politics, science, gardening or sports, but I know enough to stay engaged. One thing I am certain about: pomegranates.
